Well,some months ago I entered the Great Dumm Tryout contest at the Dumm Comics website with two entries,and guess what? I won a first place! (the second entry won a guest spot —the full list of winners was announced here).

Bueno,algunos meses ha,entré al concurso Great Dumm Tryout en el sitio web de Dumm Comics con dos participaciones,y ¿adivinen qué? ¡Gané un primer lugar! (la otra participación ganó una mención especial —la lista completa de ganadores se anunció acó).

ENGLISH.- Many of you out there already know that I'm a big fan of the Red Riding Hood —both the story and the iconic concept.

I'll be using it for exploring the influence of the Red Riding Hood in modern culture —in other words,basicly I'll be posting photos,illos,music,links,animation and whatever interesting stuff I find about hungry wolves and girls using red caps.

ENGLISH.- Fatalysia #3 will be making its public debut at the SPX this weekend (4-5 October) at the Marriott Besthesda North Hotel & Conference Center (look for table E12A).
This issue includes Chapters III and IV of the ongoing saga of Susan,the Scarecrow and Christan.Lots of magic,drama,secret agendas,madness and death.Written by Liam Kemp,with lettering and edition design by Chris Tabor,guest art by David Jones (Johnny Bacardi) and sequential art by me.There will also be available a new printing of issue #2,featuring a color version of the original cover by Myke Amend.

ENGLISH.- Well,since this month,I'm writing and drawing a one-page comic for the kids and teens section of Revista Telegenio magazine.The comic's title is Tiempo Fuera (Out Of Time) and it presents the whacky adventures of Paloma and Gulliver while they met historic celebrities —lots of all-ages comedy and didactic contents.
This comic is monthly as the magazine,which is available on newstands,book stores and some supermaket racks —in Mexico,of couse.If you are not in Mexico and/or can't read Spanish,don't worry:very probably I'll be blogging English translations of each new page on the sketchlog.

ESPAÑOL.- Pues a partir de este mes,estoy realizando un comic de 1 página para la sección infantil/juvenil de la Revista Telegenio.El comic se titula Tiempo Fuera y trata de las aventuras chacoteras de Paloma y Gulliver mientras conocen celebridades históricas —harto humorismo y contenido didáctico para toda la familia.
El comic estará disponible una vez al mes,obviamente junto con la revista,la cual está disponible en puestos de revistas,locales cerrados y racks de Comercial Mexicana™.

ENGLISH.- Some of you already know and some of you don't,but I have this part-time project known as El Taller Secuencial (The Sequential Workshop).It's about collecting links to online tutorials and resources for making comics —because there are many people out there that have talent but need a little orientation here and there.
